Geyer Springs FBC & PedsPlus Returns to Cajamarca, Peru

VILLA MILAGRO WELCOMES THE ARKANSAS TEAM

Geyer Springs FBC and PedsPlus teamed up to provide therapy care for children and adults with special needs. Two orphanages and three schools were visited daily by therapists who worked with the children and adults and trained the caregivers in each of the facilities. In addition to the therapy teams, a small medical team evaluated several of the children and adults and provided medical care where appropriate. It was a challenging week daily confronting tremendous physical needs but also a rewarding week where the therapists were able to improve the quality of care by working with both the children and their caregivers.
