A Vital House Church Grows

We visited a beautiful house church outside of Cajamarca in an area called San Francisco. Amazing sermon was preached on the importance of church and serving others. Each member present sat with full attention and hearts open. We loved being apart of this special Sunday morning service gathering together to share in the Lord's supper. Breaking bread and passing the cup as we gave thanks to our Heavenly Father. "And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying,"This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." (Luke 22:19) Church members are giving their tithes and offerings weekly and seeking the Lord's guidance on one day building a new church building, as the church continues to grow.

Thank you Lord, for this day. Thank you for allowing us to fellowship in Your house and for the blessings you have poured over this church. Thank you for sound Biblical doctrine as new Evangelical Churches continue to be added one by one here in this city of Peru. Thank you for the hearts of each member present and their desire to learn more about You. Thank you Lord, for sending Your only Son. In Your Holy Name, we do pray, Amen.
