"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being ROOTED and grounded in LOVE, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the LOVE of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

First Team In Curahuasi - The ALMA Ministry Welcomes Friends From NC

Our family was so blessed from our first team from Icard, North Carolina. The team of five arrived early on February 11, 2015 and committed to help our family and the ALMA team for twelve days here in Curahuasi, Peru. Each day the team worked hard to begin the construction of the new children's home and served along side ALMA's various ministries to help share the LOVE of JESUS CHRIST to many here in this remote village of Peru. Our family wanted to spend every minute we could with the volunteers - Bill Gregg, Allen Shuford, Benjamin Huffman, Ken Huffman, and Glenda Huffman. Many thanks to Shoup's Grove Baptist Church and Mt. Hebron Baptist Church (both from North Carolina) for helping to support and send this team to Peru to serve many in need. We captured some amazing moments on camera to share their work, the progress on the children's home, and some of our favorite memories that we will always remember from our first team to partner along side our family here in Curahuasi, Peru. We thank God for each and every one of them and for all their many gifts and talents that He has blessed them with.

We hope you enjoy and follow our blog over the next several days as we hope to share some of the highlights from their trip.

May God Bless You All!

(also, look for more updates on life here in curahuasi coming soon as we have
been serving here now in this beautiful village for one month.
we are so thankful for the internet cafe that we have found
to finally be able to access the internet & continue to share with
our friends/family each step of our faith journey)
