Thank you to so many who have immediately responded and are helping many of the victims here in Cajamarca, Peru. Words cannot say enough how much we appreciate the prayers and support. Villa Milagro was able to get fresh drinking water out to the identified three stations set up with temporary shelter and in most need of help. Pray that if other areas are needed, that God will lead us to them. We were so thankful for the clear, sunny skies today, allowing us to also deliver food, pass out many Gospel tracts, and pray with many of the families in need. We have identified a list of 25 families (with a total of 107 adults and children) living and in need of support from the shelters.
Our goal for the next several days is to continue to provide food, drinking water, clothes, and visit their homes to access the long term needs and housing conditions. Please pray for the girl with the severe heart condition. Dr. Aldo, local doctor and long term partner of Villa Milagro, was able to see her as soon as possible, and she will have more testing on Monday to determine the treatment needed to help with her condition. Many thanks to Geyer Springs First Baptist Church for all the help and financial support in getting her initially examined and for helping to cover the expenses for CAT scans, etc. We are also very thankful for a new team coming down to help and support Villa Milagro in June and for all the other teams (medical, evangelism, and construction, etc.) that will be here this year working along side the ministry to share the love of JESUS CHRIST to many in this area.
"Inasmuch as you did it to one of the
least of these My brethren,
you did it to Me."
~Matthew 25:40b
