Whitney & Shelly Arrive To Peru From South Carolina July 2016

Shelly & Whitney (roommates from college) Serve In Peru

Our family was so thankful to have Shelly Waters and Whitney Mathis from South Carolina to come and serve along side the ministries here in Curahuasi, Peru. Each day, Whitney and Shelly were ready to serve and help in any way possible. They traveled to village schools to teach the Bible, helped lead the July 4th American Independence Day Ceremony at a local school, encouraged abandoned and hurting women through songs and uplifting words, helped provide food for families in desperate need, and loved on young boys who are currently living in a Baptist Children's Home.

 

Thank you both for joining with other missionaries to pray for the children here in Peru and for many to come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

 

Thank you for being faithful to your call to join us with the work here in South America and for sacrificially giving of your time and resources.

 

Thank you for LOVING on our family and encouraging us to finish the race strong, no matter how many obstacles that Satan tries to put in our path.

 

We love you both! We look forward for your return and pray that God will watch over you both as you are joined in marriage this October, Shelly, and as you LOVE many children through teaching, Whitney.
